Major surgery!!
So then early April rolls around and I finally get the nerve up to have my abdominal hernia....courtesy of 3 kiddos and 3 c-sections repaired. Long story short surgeon said he had never seen a diastasis so severe....I can truthfully tell my kids they messed me up from top to bottom! haha!! My work friends were hilarious though prior to surgery. They had the most fun getting me "ready" for the big day :) Then, after surgery I was pampered with flowers and fruit baskets!! Mom and dad made the drive and spent a week with me helping with the kids while I recovered. VERY THANKFUL!!
Will loves his papa!!
Couldn't survive without NANA!!
They got to see the kids at swimming lessons
yes, she is trying to lick his face :)
Mexican food is good anytime.....even post op! lol!
I could EAT HER UP!
My family!!! Every bump, bruise, rip, tear, and anything in-between is beyond worth it for these guys!!
Tara's visit
After a snow storm cancelled the first planned trip Tara finally got to come to Raleigh! :) We did several fun things...We got to go to Cameron and see the Duke girls basketball team play in the NCAA Women's tournament, we went to a Winter Jam concert, and we got to have a girls night and eat at the Cheesecake Factory. The kids were so happy to see a familiar face too and it was a wonderful visit!!
Tracy's visit
Ok....there are just some things that HAVE to be documented and one of those is Tracey flying out to Raleigh to visit. We had the BEST time- we went to the Bon Jovi concert and had VERY close tickets that she gave as a gift to me. It has been so amazing that my friends have stepped up and made the trip East even when it wasn't easy for them to come....I SO appreciated it!
Catching up....
I am "a little" overwhelmed with the prospect of catching up on the blog and I am trying to decide if I want to just start from now or try and go back to catch up???? Still undecided....I DO KNOW I am going to start blogging again for my kids sake. I post too much of their stuff on facebook and that will not be around when they are grown for them to go back to and look at all the cute stuff they said and all the silly things their mother documented! So....here is to back to the bloggin' world!

Being real
I have learned a lot about living in an apartment this year none of which I enjoy- sadly :( All that to say I may completely LOOSE IT before the next 9 days are up!!!!!! Last night the lady above me starting vacuuming at MIDNIGHT and tonight she is doing laundry and sounds like herding cattle upstairs! Now, bless her heart I was working too but COME ON! UGH! I told Russ I almost got up and went and put a post-it on her door that said- please remember you have neighbors below that can hear everything.....even when you get up at 5:45 AM and use the potty- seriously I can! I have been psycho about trying to keep the kids quiet this year...don't stomp, don't yell, don't fill in the blank- bless their hearts they are sick of it as well.....as well as I am sure our neighbors can say ugly things about us too but at least I cook them treats and apologize obsessively about it! :)I will be SO grateful to be in a house and I pray if I even live in apartments again I get a townhouse!!!!
